I’m sad Saiyuuki Reload: Zeroin has ended. I enjoyed this anime.
I really liked Hazel -
At the beginning his kansai-ben quite annoyed me. But I slowly got used to it, and as the season went by - I ended up loving it a lot!!
And by ‘a lot’ I mean that I loved this character and his voice so much, and couldn’t wait until he appeared in each episode!
(Regarding the final episode: RIP my OTP!!. THAT scene made me cry ;__; agh why. I could kind of guess that would happen, but I was still sad about it ;___; /I’ve never read the manga, only watched that anime)
So anyway, I checked out his seiyuu - Toochika Kouichi. I went through his roles’ list, but I don’t think I recognize him from anything. Well, apparently he was in Saigo no Door wo Shimero!, so I just re-watched that because I forgot about his character or what he sounded like. He sounded cute!! That brought back memories! I forgot there were so many funny scenes there!
Seems like his first anime role was in the BL OVA - Boku wa Konomama Kaeranai (1994). I’ve actually never watched that one before so I just did.
Quite the typical old yaoi, nothing much I can add ^^;;
But hey, they were cute~
Going through his list some more, I stumbled upon 07-Ghost. Hmm, I might have to check this anime out! His character looks really pretty, and the PV gave me gay vibes. The rest of the cast is great too, so hey - I think I just found a new anime to watch!
I don’t have time right now to fully check if he’s done any BLCDs. I saw briefly that he was a minor character in some, and I think he was in a main couple with Kuroda Takaya, so I’ll have to check this one out!
Long story short - I really enjoy and appreciate his voice! And I love that it just made me spend a few hours going down memory lane and also finding new things to watch!
